There is a way but it's not quick! You basically have to search through the birth indexes, quarter by quarter, year by year for children with the right surname, the right mothers maiden name and registered in the right area. This only works after c1911 when mother's maiden names were included in the index. Before this time, it is not easy. Sam x |

Have you tried familysearch? Go to advanced search, put fathers full name in and the mothers 1st name in and press search. Then refine search and you can select the county to look at. If you know where abouts they lived at the time, you can normally tell which relations are yours. This gives you birth/baptisms and maybe even some death dates. This method is not exact, but it is the only way I know. familyseach(.)org (remove brackets) Vicky |
