I dont know what i have done but when i open my tree it starts on someone in 1843 when it use to start with my name - What have i done because it didnt used to be like that !! Thanks in advance Jackie

nope - not touched a thing that command is in account details and says show living relatives Jackie

This happens sometimes after you have loaded a gedcom file. I haven't quite got to the bottom of why but it is something to do with the fact that the gedcom you submitted doesn't have you as the key or prime name. If you send a message to GR support they will correct it for you.

This happened all the time when they started the new tree format. Dont know why its still happening. As was suggested contact support. In the mean time you will have to type in your name in the box to bring it up.. Margaret

I have checked my Tree package (Family Tree Maker) and sure im the primary name in that, i have uploaded the tree about 3 times now and no matter what i do the tree still starts in 1843 with a different name on genes reunited ! How long does the Site take to change it - why i ask is im adding / amending to my tree quite often, probably be a pain asking them to fix it every five minutes !!

I had this, and what I done to correct it is delete my whole tree from GR so that there is just one person, this person should be you but its not so put your name etc all in and then reload the gedcom. Worked for me. UPDATE, it did work but its now gone back again! if you get a satisfactory response from GR do let me know.
