Driving me mad When we met her OH had brought his laptop to show me the page, but the place we met wanted to charge a rather step fee for us to use it via wireless so we declined and they said to just google. I have two pages that they printed off for me prior to our meet, the title at the top is Our Family Tree I have a page that shows his ship, HMS Venerable and one with his pitcure on!!!! Aahhhhhhhhh |

Also has pictures of him on there and picture of his medals he got in WW1 etc, possibly has other family names on there........ Mothers name Florence Young |

Sorry Helen I will be a bit more specific Samuel Westwood - Middle name Young Born in Sheffield in 1892 Served on HMS Venerable in WW1 Died in 1972 age 80 |

I met my grandad's half sister at the weekend, grandad never knew he had one so it was quiet a surprise to find her and then meet. She told me that there is a website on my great grandfather that another family member has done but I can't find it at all. She said if I google the name Sam Westwood or Samuel Westwood it would come up. I have been trying since the weekend and still cannot locate it, even though she has given me prints from it ( that I have with me now ) but they don't have an email addy on them. I would be very grateful if anyone could help or point me in the right direction as I can't get in touch with grandad's half sister via email as I think she may have gone on holiday or something Thanks |
