Tomorrow I am going to the London Metropolitan Archive. I want to look up an entry found in the National Burial Index - for Charles Lamb aged 36 buried 06 Jun 1832 St Giles. Which St Giles is it? I have just realised there are several. Which one would it be? St Giles-in-the-Fields St Giles Cripplegate St Giles Camberwell I thought it would be St Giles in the Fields, but someone told me it would be St Giles Cripplegate. How do I tell?? |
