John Lewis (born about 1807 in Saundridge, Hertfordshire) marries a Ann Field (born abt 1809, St Peter, Hertfordshire - only know maiden name because her brother lives with her on census). Their 1st child to my knowledge was born in about 1830 in St Peters, so I presume they were married before this. Any birth/baptism details for John & Ann and any marriage details that anybody can find would be great. Vicky X

The BVRI has a christening of a John Lewis, 27 Nov.1803, Sandridge, Hertfordshire with parents Thomas Lewis & Charity. Any chance? Margaret

You have to purchase the BVRI discs from the LDS Church. They're a set of 16 cd's and are extracted from church records, usually not the ones on Familysearch but there is some overlap. You can find out about purchasing them on the Familysearch website. I purchased mine many years ago and they've been absolutely no help to me but lately they've been a great help for others. Not fair! Margaret

Vickie, this is a message that I just sent to someone else who was inquiring about the BVRI discs. Hope it helps. Margaret I purchased my cd's many years ago. I did it by telephone but I'm in Canada so might be different for you. I just checked on the Familysearch website. Click on 'Order /download products', then 'software & databases' then 'vital records indexes'. I see the cost is only $20 which seems quite cheap for 16 cd's. $20 is about 10 pounds, I think. Good luck,
