I lived in Turnham Green until four years ago. I've also kept plenty of books on the history of the area including photographs. The present Chiswick comprises of Turnham Green, Strand on the Green and Old Chiswick. Marie, my oldest memory is of lying in the pram looking up at the trolleybus cables. Last month I was at a photo shoot at the old tram depot, now a London Bus depot at Stamford Brook.

Thank you so much everyone. Perhaps I will find the GRO numbers from the pages I printed last night as I was beginning to think I'd got another bit wrong ! Regards Linda
