How do I change parents on my GR Family Tree?

Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 25 Send Message	I have a child assigned to a couple but have now discovered that he actually belongs to a different mother from a previous marriage of the father I was unaware of until now. I have tried changing him by clicking on the 'change parents' button in edit tools, but then what do you do. The instructions in GR Help seem to stop at this point! Some advice would be appreciated.--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Gary, the problem I have is that it's not just a single child, it has a whole line of descendants. Normally I would do what you suggest and just delete it & redo. I don't get any instructions when I click on change parents. What do you get?--------------------------------After a lot of attempts at getting 'Change parents' to do anything I closed my tree down in desperation, reopened it & tried again and lo & behold there were the instructions! So have now been able to change the child complete with descendants& am delighted- thanks Gary..
