After a very long search for John LORD and his wife Peggy nee MILLS with the help of Cheryl I have now found them in 1841, living in the sme house as her father James Mills and 2 of he siblings, what a great find.I have never known the name of Peggys mother, although from her marriage cert I knew her father was James. I have since Cheryl found them on the 1841 searched the LDS and have found what looks like the birth of one of her siblings William MILLS b 28th May 1830 in Rossendale, Lancashire, father name James and mother name Elsie HEYWORTH. I know its a common name and there are lots of MILLS around, but also living in the house in 1841 is a Richard HEYWORTH. Is this just a coincidence and am I now just getting giddy abd clutching at straws Your thoughts would be appreciated Thanks Ann

Hi It's difficult isn't it, as no relationships are noted in the 1841 census ? It seems a good connection though. Have a family member with the same name as the wife, is how I found many of the wives families. Edmund and Eleanor Sanderson, who I knew her maiden was Bowen, had her mother Elizabeth Bowen living with them, so I knew I had the right couple. Have you tried to find Richard Heyworth in the 1851 census ? Or looked for his baptism and Elsie's ?
