Please don’t copy without asking! My tree has a lot of confidential information that Has been supplied to me in good faith by many Researchers. Because of complaints to me by others I no longer share my tree on line; I have removed all sources & Notes I will swap gedcoms, & so will most other Researchers A gedcom is far quicker as you can import all info straight in without error & you will get sources & Notes If You Don’t have a genealogy program You can get a free one from http://www.genopro.com/free/ or the Best & cheapest I have Found is Roots Magic $29.95 US The tools that we have been given by the Genes Site are unfortunately being abused By some members…..This will lead to a lack of credibility of the whole site & genuine researchers will no longer use the site. The Genes reunited site is one of the cheapest & best research sites on the Internet & I would hate to see it destroyed |

And it's best to ask them first if they mind you copying it onto your tree. I expect you have but just reminding you. M |

Hi To paste use control c & to copy control v. The only other way is if they send you a gedcom of their data, but then it isn't all relevant, other than that its type away sandra |

I have several trees that I have access to and the information is valid. How do I get the information from their tree to mine without having to retype it all. I have found a copy button but no paste button? Thanks |
