	Where can I find records for people serving in a foreign police force in the 1880/1890s in this case Ghana. KR Harriet

	I suppose the National Archives in Kew might have something. Alternatively, why don't you try e-mailing the Ghana Police to ask if they have any records? They have quite a nice website: http://www.ghanapolice.org/police_admin/index.htm

	I just googled for 'Ghana Police', and that site came up. It's always worth googling for anything you're looking for - there's all sorts of information out there.
