best way to find a recent death ?

I had a memory lapse there ,lol.I think it might be after 2004.For some reason i thought ancestry stopped at 1984.Think i should take a break,lol. TINA |

Hi, the death is a local death (i think) and after 1984.Maybe about 2003/4 . Is the local paper the only way ? Tina |

Indexes on Ancestry go to 2004 if that helps |
