Is it me or Ancestry

Not been on line for a while so when I signed into Ancestry found they have altered the website. I'm looking for Albert Edward Hicks who married Annie Arnold c1886 in Shoreditch in AMJ 1905. I don't know his DOB or where he was born and can't access the Ancestry's Census unless I know where he was born. Can anyone enlighten me please.

Well unless you order their marriage cert to find out how old he was and what his fathers name is - you might have a bit of a problem!

there are quite a few Albert Edward Hicks if you get marriage cert that will give name of father might help in tracking him down with your prob on Ancestry not sure as my search page still the same you are on (.)co site and not (.)com jeanette

Hiya Lindy Lou, I just tried on ancestry and it gives afew but there is one Albert Edward b 1886 in Islington. Have you tried clicking on search at the top then census on the right hand side. hope it helps Tricia
