Using Credits to search records

On the Genes Reunited site, if you want to view records it tells you that you can buy 50 credits for £5.00 - valid for 5 days. What it fails to tell you is what the credits will buy you. Does it cost one credit or 25 credits to view a record? Which records does it apply to? Any help most welcome.

The only help I can give is -Don't Buy Credits From GR!!! The birth marriage and death indexes can be viewed elsewhere for free and for the census records, you can either get a lookup from someone else on here or buy credits for any of the other sites that offer far better value for money. Sam x

Wish I hadn't rushed in like a 'keeny' when I first joined - wasted £10 on credits, before I learned you can search free on ancestry! Learn from my mistake, Samantha! Happy hunting. Bx

Samantha, Have a look at the Help/FAQ section. It tells you there: You can buy £5.00 vouchers to view Genes Reunited records. This gives you: 50 credits Credits last: 7 days and then expire BMD images or modern data cost: 1 credit each Census detailed person search costs: 5 credits Household data costs: 5 credits Census image costs: 5 credits Rose
