	A recently acquired death certificate is causing problems...... Ann BELLCHAMBERS was shown as 50 and the death was registered by her nephew Frederick TESTER...... We think we know who she is ..BUT... she should be over 80 going by other records and the 1871 census, when she is at the address shown on the death certificate....... We hoping that burial records might show a different age........ How do I work out which parish registers or cemetery records I need to check.?

Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 425 Send Message	London Metropolitan Archives hold the records you probably need: http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/corporation/family-research/registerSearchResults.asp?boroughID=95&startdate=1870&phrase=&enddate=1890 You need the Generations part of the website. There is a drop-down box where you choose Kensington and Chelsea and you can find the register numbers. If you can't get there yourself, you can pay for the information. Hope you find her!

	Thank you for that information Elizabeth. Isn't it maddening when one buys certificates to confirm suspicions.... and they pose more problems.? Gwyn
