hello Ive now hit a huge brick wall and cant get any further im looking for the parents of Nancy Parkinson (my 2x greatgrandmother) Born 1836 in Preston, Lancs She was i believe, an orphan and living with her grandparents in the 1841 and 51 census. The problem i have now is that on her marriage cert she says her father is Edward Parkinson occ Moulder but have not found him in any census What do i do now? there are so many Parkinsons on the BMD indexes from Preston not sure which one is which! Her grandparents names are James Parkinson born 1786 to 1791 and Jane born 1786 both born in Preston. If anyone can help on how to progress much appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Sharmala. |
