I have been trying to find any records for Elsie May Jones birthdate 1905 ? 1906. I have been trying to trace now for 5 years to no avail .Elsie married a John William Blaxall on 07/08/1926 in Southampton registry office. Her residence at time of marriage was 105, Mayfield Road Her father was George Edward Jones .They had a daughter Dorothy May Blaxall born 17/01/1927 Dorothy never knew her mother as they seemed to have split up when she was very young and most of her growing up was with her granny Blaxall in Bishopstoke Hants I have all info on father but seems like Elsie just dissapeared.i have tried everything but keep going in circles maybe she remarried or emigrated ? Can anyone suggest what i can do next ? not knowing where she was born does not help, i would be so grateful for ideas thankyou for reading this message regards Irene |

Was she a spinster when she married? Wat was her father's occupation? Can we assume that you have viewed the images in your search for her birth? Reg |

She SAID she was a spinster - you didnt have to prove it! Nor your age, so maybe extend your search backwards a bit. OC |
