Most of my tracing has been backwards, but decided to have a go at going foward.I got the marriage cert of my great uncle yesterday he Married a lady called Edith Mary Moore (although she was known to my family as Grace) she was born c1910 (marrige was 1946) and she was 36 years old and a spinster, her father was Francis Samuel Moore Black smith I've had a look on BMD's and there are a couple of Edith Mary's born around the right time. None for Walsall staffs where I expected. But there is one born in Brighton.(April q 1909) My mom was only young at the time of the marriage but she remembers they went to Brighton on honeymoon. So maybe she was born Brighton and they were visiting family, or maybe just co-incidence, can anyone give me any pointers on tracing forward please?

Linda when did she die? Later death references include a date of birth which might help you narrow it down. Georgina.

Thanks Jim, I can't afford to send for all 3 certs, is there anyway of narrowing it down? or would it be better to order the birth cert for Edith born Brighton on the off chance?

Georgina I have no idea when she died, they moved from Walsall to Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire, and my mom wasn't good at keeping in touch :(

Just a snippet ,why she was known as Grace, there was a famous American opera singer in the 1930's called Grace Moore.
