Hi, i seem to have hit a brick wall. I have a Morgan Jones born in 1771in wales who married a Mary Thomas 1775. I am trying to find the parents of Morgan. Can anyone suggest where i can go to get some answers. Thanks Mark |

Have you tried the IGI? Do you know where about in Wales - if so, you could check the parish records for that place. Sam x |

Have you actually looked on the IGI because there is one on there born in 1771 in the place you mention. It only names his father but gives you somewhere to start looking at least. Sam x |

Well I would start by checking the parish records for that place. If not there, I dion't know what to suggest as I imagine that Morgan Jones is a pretty common name in Wales! Sam x |
