Finding Siblings

Im am trying to finding brothers/sisters to someone born 1913. At the minute I am searching through birth records but its a common surname and im just wondering if there is an easier way to do it?? Cheers Colette

so you have these two SHAW Henry J Plant Sculcoates 9d 515 Births Dec 1911 Shaw Arthur E Plant Stoke T. 6b 389 Births Jun 1912 not convinced they are sibs myself, if they are, lets hope one was reg late and the other early! when did the parents marry

Im looking for family of Harry William Shaw b. apr/m/jun Q in 1913. Mothers maiden name Plant. Born in Stoke on Trent. Ive found an Arthur Shaw b. 1912 but have been told by others its a big family!!! Colette

Harry William is my grandfather so im pretty certain that name is right. It also has it on my dads birth cert. I have ordered Harrys birth cert so I can get names of both parents then hopefully i can find a marriage record then i will have an idea of what dates im looking at
