My Gt.Gt.Grandfather James (born c.1811 - Croxton) appears to have been an only child (which is unusual for those days). I thought that his Father, William, must have died young. I've found a William on the Burial Index in 1811 (Croxton) - I'm sure it's him but without access to the Parish Registers, how can I be sure? M. Steer |
