Finding birth information.

You won't find a birth record..........if you're lucky, you may find her baptism in Parish records. Have you checked the IGI? Reg |

Hi Janet. The IGI is on familysearch.org. You will have to register and log in, but it is free to do so. Just follow the instructions. good hunting Dave |

Janet, The IGI is the International Genealogical Index and can be found at www.familysearch.org and it is a free site, no need to register or log in. It is basically a collection of baptisms, marriages and deaths (mainly the first two) from 1500's to about mid 1800's. Some records are transcribed from the actual parish records and some are 'member submissions' which means that anyone doing theor family history can have submitted them. They are not checked before being published to these are often not acurate. Sam x |
