Prison in the 1930s

Can some one please tell me. how do i find out about some one in prison in about 1930s...................... Many thanks Anthony

You need to finds where the prisons records are kept - try the Records Office for the area concerned or the actual prison themselves may hold them. Also, these records may be subject to some period of disclosure so you may not be able to access them even if you do find them. Sam x
