I am so excited! I just had to tell someone lol. I have avoided my Mothers side of the tree for years as the name is Wright and it seemed impossible. after recieving my Grt Grandparents marriage cert and getting 'his' fathers name I have had another look. Using all the clues I have now got back to my 3x Grt Grandparents both born 1805. The amazing/exciting thing is that he was born on North Wales! My very first non English ancestor ( I have 1600 in my tree so far). Just rang my mum to tell her she has welsh blood LOL! It just goes to show how much you can get from buying a marriage cert (£7 well spent this time!) dizzy (on a high!)

Well done ! I'm waiting on a JONES marriage certificate to arrive. They have been really awkward so far, ...Southampton area. I could do with a good lead on this family. Gwyn

Imanaged to trace a John Smith back 3 generations - now back to parish records..... Its ok as long as they give their Exact birthplace on census - just the county would be impossible! good luck with your searches, Alice
