What you have posted is the death reg'n..... The birth date given may not be correct. Have you found the birth reg'n? Reg

hi reg no i havent got the birth reg to hand but i have checked it on ancestry on the full births and found it linda

complicated story this one josiahs father was josiah moulding 1894 but his birth cert says josiah hodgetts because his mother was married but never divorced but lived with another man. so the childrens birth certs had the surname hodgetts and fathers name blank but they were all brought up as mouldings. my grandmother was henrietta moulding her birth certs says henrietta hodggets and no fathers name. but her marriage cert says henrietta moulding and fathers name john william moulding. so i am trying to find out who josiah 1894 married i know her surname was lewis but cant find anything anywhere. they were all born in leigh lancashire and my grandmother married and died in leigh so i am presumin by joshiahs birth in 1918 and death in 1985 in leigh then thats where they stayed thanks linda

Perhaps Josiah followed the family tradition, and didn't bother with getting married............ Reg

Carter I have searched the marriage indexes between 1914-1920 and I cant see any marriage for Josiah Moulding. Georgina.
