Hi There, Did your dad say how much older they are than you? It is just I am 40 this year and my marriage is transcribed on the 1984-2005 marriage index. It may be that this is the route you should take if it is prior to this I would work backwards from 1983. If you would like some help PM me the details and I will try and help you. Best Wishes Jane (Victoria is my first name) |

aswell as looking for my grandads info (brick wall) i am also tryign to trace my half brothers and sisters. i found my dad last year after 30 years and he informed me that i had 4 older half brothers and sisters, but he had lost touch with also. he is able to tell me roughly where they live and i have tracked them through ancestry and located their births in the records. but thats it. i have info that they married, but not to whom. is it a case of me trawling through the records on the off chance that i come across the name? only thing is they such common names how can i be sure they the right one? has anyone any ideas on how i can trace them, but quicker? would appreciate all suggestions? |
