Never send cash in the UK and certainly not abroad. Why not use an International Money Order. A bankers draft could cost as much as £25 depending on your relationship with your bank. Margaret N |

I wouldn't send cash in the post. Not the safest thing to do, especially international post. Rose |

As the $25 converts to about 11.40 i would by the dollars free commission at post office and most tavel agents, and send in post, cheapest way as other options will cost more than original amount you are sending. |

Buy the postal order in Canadian dollars. When I send money to UK I buy a postal order in UK Currency. You can also purchase a bank draft or cheque in Canadian dollars and send that. |

Hi, You could use Western Union Money Transfer or the Moneygram at the post office, but you will have to pay a charge of about £15, but it is the most quickest and safest way to send money abroad. Shelley |

Have to send $25 (Canadian) to Canada to reimburse nice gentleman who sent me family history book - any suggestions as to the best way to do that? One suggestion I have had was postal order, but local postmaster says he thinks there is a problem cashing UK postal orders in Canada?? Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Maggie |
