can anyone tell me were in holborn in 1896 they would have made sponges, i have looked on different occupations sites and cannt find any thing i dont think they are the edible type either. thanks fran |

when I was a kid ...1964...there use to be a biscuit factory in that area...I know its a long shoot My mum worked there in the early 50's sorry cant remember anymore than that I know these dates are not near the ones you want but ...the biscuit factory in Reading is 150 years old |
