Hi, I seem to be stuck. I have a George Norris born 1824(bap 25.4.1824) in Tring. Im am trying to trace him in the census and although i have him in the 1841 census, im just not sure where he is in the later census's. There is another George Norris born in 1824 in watford and i just dont want to confuse them. This one is not connected to me. Thanks for any advice Mark

Hi, When tracing my tree i did start with me, i worked upwards , i then started working across and now i am working downwards again. I know my Georges parents, siblings, aunts and uncles. How can i get around this. Thanks Mark

Mark that is the easiest way to follow the wrong family, sorry to sound a grouch but you need to start with yourself & work backwards, that is the only sure way of following the right line. Georgina.

Mark there is no easy answer to that question unless you buy all the marriage certificates which could be him & cross check his fathers name. Have you thought he might have died? Deaths Dec 1841 (>99%) NORRIS George Albert Berkhampstead 6 332 Deaths Mar 1844 (>99%) NORRIS George Arthur Berkhampstead 6 383 Deaths Sep 1848 (>99%) Norris George Berkhampstead 6 343 Georgina.
