Yes it was 1837online and yes it is pay by view. The LDS web-site has been undergoing maintenance checks for about a week and some pages are difficult to get into. Ken

Try London Metropolitan Archives and the Generations data base: You need Tower Hamlets I couldn't find St Botolphs, but if you e-mail them they might help you.

If you go to Family History Library Catalog on the CLDS website they have a lot of records for the 9 St Botolphs in London. Ozi.

I have been told that it is very difficult to find deaths in the CIty of London earlier than 1837. Lucky me! I need to find Hugh Munro born +- 1747 and died 1808. I think it should be in St Botolph's but the Guildhall LIbrary does not hold a record. Can anyone help?
