I have somebody born in Mexico between 1885 and 1887 .I dont know the exact date but would like to get a Birth Cert any ideas how to narrow it down to a date and where to get the Cert thanks ??????????

hi thats very nice of you to look , she could be under a different surname this family change their names all the time she might be under Guttantag .I did not on the cenus for 1901 she is donw as being born in Salgeel Mexico is that a place name I dont know?????????

hi sorry had to go out for a minute her father should be Hyam David Guttentag or Hyam David Rose or Alfred Guttentag or Rose, her mother should be Rebecca maiden name Cohen dont worry if you cant find her as I said they changed thei names frequently , but thanks for looking .

Valerie, I just had a look at the 1901 census and I don't know where the transcriber got the name Salgeel. The original says birthplace Mexico then ditto ditto for English Subject. The head of the household, Mark Rose was born Germany, English Subect. She's his niece.

Sorry cant find anything on there. Looks like it will be 'fun' finding them with all the names lol Marion
