Hi Harry. I live in Victoria. If your looking for someone in particular that arrived here ( Forename and Surname )i carry most BDM's for this State If i can help check something for you, let me know. I also carry a list for mining accidents in Victorian gold fields as my G,Grandfather and Grandfather were miners in Vic. The main Victorian Goldfields are central Victoria, now called the 'Golden Triangle'... Ballarat, Castlemaine and Bendigo ( Old Sandhurst ) were the main larger producing Gold Fields in Victoria, among others during the mid to late 1800s. The other two main Gold mining States were ..N.S.W and Western Australia ( Kalgoorlie ) Cheers. Tony..:>))

Hi Harry, If there's a chance they ended up in NSW or Victoria, try searching for marriages or deaths at these two sites. Found several of mine this way. Victoria - http://online.justice.vic.gov.au/servlet/IdxSearch?action=getHistIdxSearchCriteria NSW - http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/searchHistoricalRecords.htm Good luck! Debbie

Anybody know of any routes I can go down to find out more about UK emigrants to Australia for the 1851+ 'Gold Rush'? Passenger lists aren't available, I've tried those. Harry Hulme
