Why are they the same??

Just found the following death info:- Henry Sinfield died JFM 1867, Woburn, aged 69, 3b 277 and Sarah Sinfield died JFM, Woburn, aged 63, 3b 277. I can suppose they may have been husband and wife, but why do they have the same ref. details?? Kathlyn

If they died at the same time, then they would probably have been registered at the same time, so would be on the same page. Kath. x

No, there are up to eight entries on births and deaths and four couples on marriage registers. The ref refer to the page, not the person.
