Please help me I think I cant do anymore ....see what you think. William Henry Williams...had children..3girls with Kate Jane Williams late Wolstencroft..formerly Pogson,in 1912,1916,1922. No one can find the marriage....so how do I find William Henry Williams?no more info...unless you know a way

yes we found that but my granny didnt stay with him!!!!!! she went on to have children with William Williams.....we think Thomas went to USA.....but not sure

If your mum has both names on her birth certificate I wouldn't be surprised if her parents weren't married. If they were then she would only have Williams on her birth certificate. Kath. x

We also know this is the same Kate coz my mum has williams /wolstencroft on her birth certificate

yes We kinda thought that ...but how do I find William henry Williams................with the little I have ...or cant I till 2011

Have you looked on the 1901 census or are there too many Williams? Which area did they live? If you can't find him on the 1901 census and can't find a marriage, then I think you will have to wait for the 1911 census (some of which might hopefully be released early in 2009). Kath. x

You people are so good ....thats just where we had got to ...and yes Kath I think I have to wait......Reg, thats what I found but nothing else and as you all realise there are to many William williams to narrow it down I tried to and it gave me 4750 odd for deaths between 1922 and 1935.... I know no more at all!!!! Thanks for your help...just got to wait :0((((((((

Thinking about it, even with the 1911 census, the only thing extra you will get that you don't already know is his age and place of birth. Without a marriage certificate to give you his father's name, you may still not have enough to find him amonst all the other Williams. Kath. x
