Thanks Sue and Susan, I have Ancestry but was thinking of trying Family Relitives, do you know if they offer anything different ? and if so is it worth the subscription. Sharon

Ancestry has been invaluable to me, my subs ran out a couple of weeks ago and I can't afford to renew at the moment. I'm missing it soooo much :(

Ancestry is THE site. familyrelatives doesnt have an awful lot to offer except that the bmd are partially name indexed but to be honest you can get most of them up to early 1900s on freebmd now and the rest on ancestry complete bmd index. What I do is search freebmd and if I cant find someone I use familyrelatives.org Have a look at their site to see what they have.
