If they were actually employed by the Royal Household you will almost certainly be able to get the records which are now held at Windsor Castle. They are really helpful - and their correspondence is on exquisite plush stationery!!!

Would have thought she would have worked for one of the Royal Dressmakers or Couture houses rather than directly. Unless she was a ladies maid with responsibility for looking after the royal wardrobe.. have you found any trace of her later on ie a death cert .this may have some clues, such as an occupation shown. As she would be later than the 1901 I think it would be difficult to verify without knowing who her employers were And whether any info survives for employees, Would think maybe held at the National Archives Kew if any are searchable

It has always been thought that my Gt Gt grandmother worked as a dressmaker for the royal family and possibly other family membersas well. I have now found a photo of a wedding at which my Gt Grandmother is definetly present. However it looks as though King George V is also in the picture. Can anyone help with how I might find out if either is true?
