Hello Does anyone have any old photos or info on the above place please? in paricular the nearby leadmines. My ggreatgrandparents lived there in the 1870/80s. Thanks Sharmala. |

If you put ....Cross Moor Ullverston.....into Google Images, there is a picture of the cross there. Can't find one of the leadmines though. Kath. x |

Thanks Kathleen I found that photo also, but nothing else i think it was a very small place looking at the modern photo, im hoping that someone on here might be familiar with it. Sharmala. |

Hi Sharmala I know this place; it's near a village called Swarthmoor which comes under Ulverston, Cumbria. If you go to Rootsweb(*)com and go the Ulverston page, I'm sure if you post asking for photographs, someone will be able to tell you how to find them. Good luck. Patricia |
