I don't know if you tried googling it, but I came up with a site called wombwell-on-the-net*co*uk That has old photos of Wombwell including one of the Lane you were asking about. Maybe you could get in touch with them about whether it exists now? Could you work it out from google earth? Dawn

my daughter used to live there. If you are referring to the one at Barnsley. I will ask her next time I see her. They were pulling a lot of it down and rebuilding last time I was there.

Hi, I have a close reli being born in Park Villas, Everill Gate Lane in 1918. On an old ordnance survey map I have, it shows this building by itself on the lane. Do you know if was a dwelling, or some kind of maternity unit? thanks vicky
