Hi, i have just found the date of birth 19.5.1839 with the aid of a fantastic person but i cant find the references so i can order the birth cert. Can anyone help. Thanks Mark

Mark You don't have to go to watford - and it is unlikely that the parish registers will still be held there anyway. Your local LDS centre can get the film for you. OC

I can see him in the censuses, but not on FreeBMD or Familysearch. I think the only way you'll find him is to look at the parish baptism records, which you can view at your local LDS centre. Unfortunately there's more than one parish in Watford, so it may take some time to look through them all.

he may not have been registered as it wasn't until 1875 when it was compulsary to do so Jeanette

Hi, im stuck as i am looking for the birth record for a Luke Norris who was born in watford in 1839 and i cant seem to find it. Any help is very welcome . Thanks Mark
