I just wondered as I would like the certificates I have ordered copies of to stand the test of time. Mandy |

O.C. Someone wrote and asked them this a time back and Im sure they were assured it was acid free. However, you can put them in an acid free album or folder aswell. |

Mandy Not as far as I know - the genral advice is store your certs in acid free wallets. Take a photocopy first, to use as a working copy, then file the master away in an acid free wallet (DO NOT LAMINATE), put it in a drawer, or other dark place, and forget about it. OC |

I stand corrected! It is just that I have noticed that some of the handwritten ones I have received are beginning to fade - maybe its the ink they used? And I would certainly protect any originals, just to be on the safe side. OC |

Oh yes I have paid a fortune for acid free wallets - then I keep reading you can get a pack A4 size for a couple of quid from Smiths LOL. Never mind, I like the thick crystal clear ones and anyway I dont have A4 size certs and I dont want to fold the long certs. I think it was Merry actually who contacted the GRO about the paper, wasnt it? Mind you, if the ink fades, not a lot of point just having the paper safe is it! |
