Thanks, I checked there, but because it didnt give a page number just a 'see a year', I didnt think I could enter that and then upload. There definitely wasnt an insertion mark. I was even more puzzled as it isnt even the year I was doing!

go to Free BMD and click on transcribers page. If you scroll down nearly to the bottom of it you will find Transcribers Knowledge Base,you will find answers to most of your queries there. Just enter the handwritten entry at the end of the page,if there is no insertion point marked on the left,if there is an asterisk or other mark,place it there.Enter See/** whatever the reference is,when you come to close the file or upload it,you will receive an error warning,disregard it! Can anyone help me or direct me to where I can find help. I am transcribing 1913 births Q4 p271 and at the bottom it has written a name and where the page number should be it says see Mch 1918 (or something similar), how do I record this?
