Before contacting Support, I tried Safari, Netscape and Internet Explorer. Safari and Netscape gave the same error messages as Firefox and Internet Explorer wouldn't even let me into my family tree. In any case, Microsoft stopped supporting IE for Mac over a year ago, so I wouldn't want to use it anyway. Hey ho.

Hi again Well GR suggested that I try using Internet Explorer to navigate on my tree and this seems to have solved the problem. I did point out to them that I used to use IE but they insisted last year that Firefox was better and I loaded that onto my pc. Having now gone back to IE it all seems fine. They are looking into the Firefox Update which seems to have caused a problem with uploading photos. I suggest you try IE if you can! Malcolm

Hi Malcolm. I'm having problems too. I successfully uploaded a number of photos, so I know there was no problem with the image size or label, but as you found, after a new update, I could no longer do it. I too use Firefox. I've contacted 'Support' who rather unhelpfully suggest that it's because I use a Mac that I can't upload the photos, although it wasn't a problem before... It's a pity; I really liked this site, but it's a real drag not being able to add photos. Do post a message if they manage to solve your problem. Cheers. Marian

Has anyone had trouble uploading photos onto their tree lately? Using Firefox was OK until earlier this month when they issued an update. Since then it has been impossible to upload a photo, of whatever size. I have contacted so-called 'Support' and they have spent weeks saying 'bear with us' and giving daft suggestions like shortening the file name, which makes no difference whatsoever. Has anyone managed to crack this problem as I have been trying to upload some newly discovered family photos for over 3 weeks now! Malcolm
