Hi, Carol - sorry,I should have said that I have Ethel's details as she was my great aunt, her parents were Frederick and Sarah Ann Morton.Thankyou for taking the time and trouble to look and apologies for misleading you. Sharmala, That is interesting, I am not sure if they had any children but it might be worth ordering certificate to see. Thankyou. Alexandra, That could well be my Horace, the trouble is I know nothing about him and anyone in the family who might have done is dead. I will keep this in mind. Lesley |

Have you just looked on freebmd for the marriage or have you looked through the index pages on sites like ancestry or findmypast? As it may not have been transcribed yet to be on freeBMD. |

Hello, I realise this is a long shot but can anyone find this marriage between Horace Parkin and Ethel Morton. It would have taken place in Sheffield, probably Eccleshall Bierlow. I am not sure what year, Ethel was born in 1897 so I guess she would not have married until at least 18yrs so that would be after 1915. I am not sure when Horace was born. I have looked myself on sites like freebmd but cannot find anything.I would be very grateful for this information as it might lead to a connection with someone else on this site. Thankyou for reading this message. Lesley |
