I have Sarah Tufnall/Tuffnall born c 1816 at Holly Bush Staffs (according to 1861 census). Where is it? I have looked at Genuki, with no luck, and I have also googled. I assume it is near Checkley/Cheadle. |

It's near Longton. If you go to www.streetmap(.)co(.)uk and search for Blurton Road and choose the one in Stoke on Trent, a map comes up. Zoom out once and Hollybush is marked on the map. Sam x |

Thanks Sam - I have found it now. My geography of this area isn't very good! Sometimes it says she was born in Checkley, but it's not as close as I thought. |

My geography obviously isn't very good either - I only live about 3 miles away and had never heard of Hollybush!! Sam x |
