In a family tree programme, how does one enter a person who changes their name by deed poll? For example John Smith decides to call himself George Brown (by legal process). His parents are Smith, his children are Brown - he has two names....... Peter |

Hello Peter On the family tree program I have, I right click and another drop down menu has 'Add Alias' with four options ....birth/marriage/deed poll/ oops, can't remember the other one. Might be in a right click option?? as Alexandria said, If your referring to GR tree ... I have seen 'Known as' where the second name is put in. Babz |
