You can order any certificate from GRO online for £7 - make sure you tick the box asking if you have the reference and just use that ref - certs are coming in less than a week at mo. http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ NEVER use any other site - there are some scam ones using similar names to the official GRO and charging £25 or more for a cert.

Can somebody please tell me if I can I order a death certificate on Ancestry? I can only see a facility to order Birth Certificates or am I going blind! Susie x

you order them from GRO not ancestry you get GRO ref from ancestry the certs cost withn ref £7 http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

Yes, well first death certs, i got the the birth ones a few weeks ago, couldnt find anything on my grandparents for a few years then all of a sudden they popped up, was starting to think we were a family of aliens! lol Susie x
