Member Since: September 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	his mother has never married. she had her maiden name (which was her mothers as she wasnt married at birth), she was then known by her fathers name and then she is now known as her partners name. i did wonder if he had the same father as my mum but no again nothing.

	Was his mother married before she married the stepfather? If so, the marriage would show her previous married name....perhaps he is registered under that name? Reg

Member Since: September 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	hi, i have just found the marriage of my uncle. however, it is listed underhis step-fathers name. is there anyway i can find out what his real birth name was? i have looked under 'my nans' maiden name, known as name and cant find his birth. he is meant to be 2 years older than my mum who was born in 1949, but i cant find anything for 1946/47
