Not as such, but there are some sites with gravestone inscriptions, ie http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/gravestones/index.cfm though this currently only has northern Ireland ones. It is worth googling irish genealogy cemetery inscriptions

Thanks, Yummy and Maid Marion. I'm looking, specifically, in Southern Ireland - not easy! M. Steer

Whereabouts in southern Ireland? Some heritage centres have done or are in the process of entering inscriptions on databases.

Hello Margaret You could have a look here. The C.M.C Project The letters 'CMC' in the project name represent what we collect and display. They stand for Christening, Marriage, and Cemetery, as well as death records. The primary focus of the collection efforts are directed toward the 19th century time period. The individual county entrance pages explains this in greater detail. http://www(.)cmcrp.net/index(.)php Remove brackets.

Maid Marion, Donegal Girl, I'm looking in Co. Kildare, Eire. I've tried the CMC Project but they don't have Kildare. C'est la vie! Thanks, M. Steer

It could be worth contacting the heritage centre in this site for advice. If they cannot help, maybe they could point you in the right direction. Happy hunting! http://www.irish-roots.net/kildare.asp
