The easy way as far as I am concerned is to go to your emails click on the attachment highlight the GED file and click on Save. Choose a folder (directory) that is easy to find such as C:\Programmes\(YourFamilyTreeProgramme) then click OK. You now have a copy of the GED file from which your family tree programme can import. Go to the tree programme, start a new tree, click on Import GED, go to your easy to remember folder, highlight your downloaded and saved GED file, click OK - it sounds worse than it is honest. Clive

I have just managed to export my tree from genes, but now it's stuck in my emails. How do I import it to Family tree Maker. Can anybody help? I do feel an idiot, but I suppose we all have to learn. Lyn
