Have your tried scanning in on to your computer.....you can enlarge it then and therefore you should be able to read it. I have a few that are difficult to read and I found that a scanned copy was soooo much better! Regards...Teresa |

Hi, Try your local librarian. They are pretty good at reading poor handwriting. It worked when I had a similar problem. Cheer Paul |

Hi, Contact the GRO (if that's where you got it from) and inform them that you can't read it, they usually request that you send it back and they will either send you another copy or will write a new one for you. Well that's what they did for me when I couldn't read one. On another occassion when I couldn't make our a surname I asked for clarification and they gave me 2 possibilities. All at no charge.
