Unfortunately no personal details are shown on the Medal Cards, you would need to findif is his service records survived, if so, they should be at TNA Kew, that means a visit there yourself, or employing a researcher. Jennifer

I believe that is his full number, and RE is Royal Engineers. My grandfather was in the RE before and during WW1 and his was a four figure number. Jennifer

please will some one advise me i have a print out of the front of a medals card and on it it has part of a reg.no.3087... r.e. how and were can i find the rest of the number and would it have his parents name so i can confirm he is or isnt mine. thank you fran
